• My aim is to make lessons fun! Playing the piano has had such a positive impact on my life and I hope to share this enthusiasm with others. It’s a wonderful skill to have that can provide happiness and enjoyments throughout your life.

• Students will learn to play music from a range of genres, read notation, develop their aural skills, play duets and learn about music theory and history.

​

• My students have a 100% pass rate in practical and theory exams with many achieving high grades. I mainly use ABRSM but I'm also happy to work with Trinity, LCM, Rockschool or MTB if this better suits the needs of the student. ​​

​

• Exams aren't compulsory, I can also help you develop as a musician without the pressure of exams. 

​

• I currently offer home visits in the Swansea area.

​

• I have been fully DBS checked and am a member of the Independent Society of Musicians.

​

• Lessons will be fully tailored to your needs.

• We can work on whatever you’re interested in. Whether you have a specific goal in mind (like being able to play your favourite song), would like to generally improve your skills, or just think learning the piano would be fun to try.

• Any level of experience is welcome, whether you used to play when you were younger or are a complete beginner.  

​

• There will be no pressure to take exams, unless you’d like to.

​

• I offer home visits in the Swansea area.

I provide assistance in taking the grade 5 music theory exam.
